November 2014 – The Advertiser Food Awards ” Best Cafe”
Chef Stewart Wesson’s boutique bakery cafe was an instant hit with its philosophy of simple food, done well. Wesson makes all pastries, croisssants and freshly-baked loaves on site. His wildflower vinegar is great served with sourdough and local olive oil. Breakfast and lunch menus change all the time. The food is innovative, bright, fresh and packed with flavour. The small space has benches, tables and a kitchen bar. It’s also open Friday evenings for end-of-the-week drinks and dinners.
